Giulio Boschetti

In April 2001, he joined the Mythos Course of Higher Education for Soloists, set up by the A. Toscanini foundation in Parma. For two consecutive years, he has performed intense activity of technique and interpretation with Maestros Renato Bruson, Leo Nucci, Virginia Zeani, Alain Billard and Beppe De Tomasi.
He debuted the following titles from the great opera repertoire:La serva padrona (Uberto) di G. B. Pergolesi; La finta semplice (Don Cassandro), Le nozze di Figaro (Conte d’Almaviva, Figaro, Bartolo), Don Giovanni (Don Giovanni, Leporello, Masetto, Commendatore), Così fan tutte (Guglielmo, Don Alfonso) di W. A. Mozart; Il matrimonio segreto (Conte Robinson) di D. Cimarosa; Il barbiere di Siviglia (Figaro), L’italiana in Algeri (Haly) di G. Rossini; L’elisir d’amore (Dulcamara, Belcore), Don Pasquale (Dottor Malatesta) di G. Donizetti; Nabucco (Nabucco), Rigoletto (Rigoletto), La traviata (Germont), Un ballo in maschera (Renato) di G. Verdi; La cavalleria rusticana (Alfio) di P. Mascagni; La Bohème (Marcello), Tosca (Scarpia), Madama Butterfly (Sharpless) di G. Puccini.

Active in modern repertoire, he was a leading figure in the première of various productions.
Very attentive to sacred music, he collaborated with the Choir of the Basilica of San Francesco”  in Assisi. He has performed with this group in front of Pope John Paul II at St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome for the Jubilee in 2000. He has recorded several CDs with them, performing pieces from the repertoire of the Maestri di Cappella della Basilica di Assisi from the 17th and 18th century.
He has given significant performances in prestigious European concert halls.
Since 2012, he has collaborated with the Tiroler Festspiele in Erl (Austria), under the artistic direction of Maestro Gustav Kuhn.
