Lucia Casagrande Raffi

Born in Gubbio (Perugia), she first graduated in singing and then in teaching of Music, with honours from the F. Morlacchi Conservatory in Perugia. She obtained her specialist masters degree with first class honours. She made her debut at age 21 at the Montepulciano International Arts Workshop. She works with Marinella Meli, Raina Kabaivanska, Claudine Ansermet e Gloria Banditelli. She Collaborates with national and international renowned artists such as Dimitra Theodossiou, Carmela Remigio, Norma Fantini, Piero GIuliacci, Umberto Ganzale, Sara M’Punga and with conductors such as: L.G.Dolcini, M.Belli, P.Baiocco, G.Marras, G.Ferrari, G.Scandella, G.Pressburger, A.Cuocolo, P.Fosso. She has performed in Italy and abroad for many years, earning critical and public acclaim from Operaclick, L’Opera, Classic Voice, Corriere dell’Umbria, Repubblica, La Nazione, Nuove Dimensioni Musicali, Into ther theatre. She has debuted in several roles including Gilda, Violetta, Charlotte, Elvira, Donna Anna, Ifigenia, Euridice, Valencienne, Pamina, Contessa, Susanna, Giulietta, Michaela, Musetta. Active in church, oratorio and symphonic music with important productions, in recent years she has dedicated herself to unpublished scores and to early music. She attended the 2010 Beniamino Gigli awards in Helsinki. She worked with Francesco Marchetti on ” Requiem” and” The Composition” , as part of the soundtrack for the eponymous film by A. Bergamo, which competed at the 2012 Venice Film Festival. She studied composition with Fabrizio de Rossi Re. She has consistently collaborated with some important groups. She is currently fine-tuning with the mezzosoprano Gloria Banditelli.
